You can see in the image I attached that it does resemble the shape of a twisted ladder.

For this problem , I used process or elimination.
You can eliminate A because a parrelelogram has 4, straight sides but if it has a circle with it, it isn't a parrelogram anymore
You can eliminate B because there is no trapazoid in the picture
You can eliminate C because if you use the circle, the dotted line you create a curve in the 'square' making it some obscure figure with a curved side.
It is D because if you look at just the solid line on the circle, it represents a semi-circle, while the rest is a rectangle.
