The Earth systems is divided into Atmosphere, Lithosphere, Hydrosphere and Biosphere.
According to the three basic states of matter (i.e. solid, liquid and gas), the earth system is divided into the following categories:
1. Atmosphere - is the layer of gases that is found in the Earth. The gases are nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide and other gases.
2. Lithosphere - This part contains the rocks and soil
3. Hydrosphere - This is all the water found on the Earth, and
4. Biosphere - It consists of all the living organisms and their dwelling place on Earth. Living organisms have all the three states of matter.
Earth is comprised of atmosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere.
The earth is comprised of three system which is present in solid, liquid and gas they are lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere. Combination of all three sphere is known as biosphere where life exist. Lithosphere is defined as the area of earth which is solid in nature, it is comprised of land part of the earth.
Hydrosphere is defined as the area of earth which is liquid in nature, it is comprised of all the water bodies present in the earth.
