According to Document three, one would believe that Napoleon is a democratic reformer or hero. He is painted in a fashion similar to that of General George Washington. In the source photo, Napoleon is wearing the democratic colors of red (valor), white (purity), and blue (justice) and riding a white horse (strength &purity) and in a soldiers uniform giving him the air of being a representation of the people.

This is a question entirely based on ones opinion on Napoleon, as he has the attributes of someone who is a hero, but at the same time a tyrant. Many people consider Napoleon a hero because of how he "saved" France after the Revolution, just within one year of coming to power. He tried to help the French people to the best of his ability, but at the same time dictated them and held their power completely. Many people believe he is a tyrant because of this absolute power he had on the French. He abused his power and jailed and executed many people who did not deserve it. So what do you think?
